Heart of the Beast VS Hachi: Two Stories of Loyalty That Cannot Be Compared Without Tears
The film “Heart of the Beast” has just been released in theaters and has already attracted a lot of attention. Brad Pitt stars, and next to him is the combat shepherd dog Odin. It is a story about true comrades-in-arms, a man and a dog who go through trials together. While watching, you can't help recalling the 2009 film “Hachi: A Dog's Tale” with Richard Gere. The plots of the films are quite different: in one, the heroes fight for survival in the wilderness, in the other, a dog simply waits for his owner at a station. But there is a common thread between them, and that is loyalty. In both, the friendship between man and dog matters most. There are other characters in both films, but the focus always remains on the main heroes: a man and his dog. Which film moved you more?
